Trip to Banjarmasin 26 October 2014

Banjarmasin is the capital city of South Kalimantan, Indonesia. It takes almost two hours from Jakarta to the city by plane. I feel bless to have experience in visiting the city for attending the wedding ceremony of my best friend on 26 October 2014. Here you can easily find beautiful mosques. I didn’t have time to exploring the city since my visit is only for the wedding day, but I have some pics to share here that I captured near the house where I stayed. The Bogor Botanical Gardens is a botanical garden located in Bogor, Indonesia, 60 km south of Jakarta. The gardens are in the city center and adjoin the Istana Bogor. The gardens cover more than 80 hectares. More info at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bogor_Botanical_Gardens.
This is one of the best destinations in Indonesia. I like this place. Here are some pics I took in the garden when I visited my students who're doing internship at the Center for Plant Conservation, Bogor Botanical Gardens.

My book of life

I keep writing my book of life with the ink of happiness or even sadness. Chapter by chapter I have completed to compose the whole part of my reflection. All pages are ready to be opened so I can learn from the story on it.. learn from my imperfection, learn from disappointment and failure in the past.

On 1st August 2014 I decided to open a new page in the new chapter of my story. I believe there will be many challenges to face in the new chapter. But I do hope that happiness will be a part of each page. I hope I can completed my book of life in which the happiness is at the beginning, the ending and the whole story.

The trip to Nias Island, North Sumatra on 10-14 March 2014 gave me some lessons and experience. People there are trying to more educated in the limited facilities. There is no big library building with many books, no high speed Internet connection as we have in Java Island. But I appreciate their spirit to learn, to study, and to be more valuable people with better education.
I took these pics of "mobile library & mobile internet" when I taught computer literacy for junior and high school teachers in District of North Nias.
